My Story

During his Senior year of High School Tim booked a national commercial and made his professional stage debut in a regional tour of, ‘The Night of January 16th’ To satisfy his desire to study the craft, Tim attended The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York where he graduated from their Studio Program. However, as this was the 90s and Tim’s ethnically ambiguous look wasn’t in vogue, he moved to Ireland where he was simply seen as American. Tim landed a gig as Clive Owen’s stand-in on Jerry Bruckhiemer’s ‘King Arthur’ and what followed was a fifteen year career in front of and behind the camera with plenty of Voice Over, Corporate and Theatre work. Highlights include, an award nominated performance in the European Premiere of Craig Wright’s, ‘Orange Flower Water’ ‘Street Car Named Desire at The Hawkswell Theatre, Molier’s, ‘L’Amour Medicin’ at Smock Alley and Big Telley’s international tour of, ‘The Little Mermaid’

On screen, Tim has worked with Director’s such as Mel Gibson, Jim Sheridan, Antione Fuqua and Alan Parker and is a member of British Actors Equity.

Tim gained an incredible education on filmmaking by serving as a personal assistant to every department head a production offers, but his true education in how to shape a performance that serves both the narrative and actor was earned during his two years working with six time Academy Award nominated writer/director Jim Sheridan: ‘My Left Foot’, ‘In the Name of the Father’, ‘Get Rich or Die Trying’

Tim has coached actors throughout his career, and is a big believer in doing the work beforehand that allows us to be in the moment when the camera rolls or the curtain comes up.
